7/1/08 - Four new U.S. Manufacturer’s Representatives Added!!

During the month of June, Century Controls added the following outstanding firms to our network of manufacturer’s representatives for the Boiler Controls line:

Wise Energy Equipment Solutions, a Corval Company, – Minnesota and Northern Wisconsin
Bruce Boiler Burner & Equipment - Wisconsin
BSI Mechanical, Inc. – Georgia and Eastern Tennessee
Thermal Control Supply - Eastern Pennsylvania and Southern New Jersey

These firms are all well established in their geography and have been bringing the best in HVAC solutions to their customers for many years. Their expertise and relationships will allow them to do very well with Century’s energy-saving product line.

4/21/08 – BACnet Communications Now Available!!

BACnet communications protocol has become more popular and is accepted by all of the major building management systems. This protocol is a common language that allows products from many different vendors to communicate to each other. The Century Controls product line for boilers and compressors now has the ability to communicate over BACnet IP or BACnet MSTP protocol. This provides easy interfacing of the building management system to the Century Controls panels. Boiler firing rate, pressure, temperature and oxygen concentration are some of the points that can be accessed from the controllers. 2/1/08 – Century Moves to Larger Offices

Century Controls has moved its offices to a larger facility in Rogers, MN. Just 25 miles from Minneapolis, the new Rogers office is more than double the size of our previous space. The new office will allow adequate room for our growing staff. The additional space dedicated to research & development and production will allow us to continue to pursue aggressive growth. Please feel free to stop by for a visit any time you are in the area.

12/03/07 – Todd Hardwick joins Century Controls, Inc.

We are pleased to announce that Todd Hardwick has joined Century Controls, Inc. as Chief Technology Officer. In this role, Todd will be responsible for product development, intellectual property, manufacturing and technical support functions. Todd comes to Century from TSI, Inc. where he held several leadership positions over an 18-year period, including Engineering Manager and Business Manager - Flow Instruments Division. Todd brings outstanding electrical engineering, business development and management experience to Century Controls which will be valuable in executing our product line expansion and business growth plans.

11/30/07 - Whitecliff Capital Partners makes an additional investment in Century Controls International

Whitecliff Capital Management has made a second equity investment in Century Controls International. Including the initial investment in April 2007, Whitecliff Capital’s total investment now stands at $1,400,000. The funds will be used to support the Company’s growth plans. Whitecliff Capital now owns a majority of the outstanding equity of the Company.

10/15/07 – Brian Baker joins Century Controls, Inc.

We are pleased to announce that Brian Baker has joined Century Controls, Inc. as Chief Operating Officer and Board member. In this role, Brian will be responsible for financial, sales, marketing and strategic planning functions of the Company. Brian previously provided strategic planning services to Century Controls. Prior to that, Brian spent seven years with barcode integrator AbeTech where he held leadership positions including President, CFO and COO. Brian brings solid sales channels, marketing, finance, leadership and strategic planning experience to Century Controls which will be valuable in executing our product line expansion and business growth plans.

4/27/07 - Whitecliff Capital Partners Makes Equity Investment in Century Controls International

Whitecliff Capital Partners provided Century Controls, Eagan, Minnesota, with bridge financing followed by an equity investment. The funds will be used to support the growth of the Company. Whitecliff Capital Partners is an experienced private equity investor, focused on lower middle market companies.
